Kristen received her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from Cal Poly Pomona. After graduation, she became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Kristen was then accepted at Western University of Health Sciences and completed her Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 1999.
In 2004, she and Chris Stempson opened Tower Physical Therapy, Inc. Kristen and Chris enjoy attending continuing education courses related to the latest research in orthopedic injuries and post surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries and vestibular rehabilitation.
Kristen and her husband, Jacob, have 2 sons, Jackson and Wesley. They have a very active family life, participating in multiple sporting activities. Kristen is a member of Turlock Sunrise Rotary and enjoys being an active member of the community. Kristen enjoys exercising, golfing, reading and traveling in her spare time.
Chris attended Azusa Pacific University, playing soccer and completing his Undergraduate degree in Applied Health. Chris completed his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2000. Upon completion of his degree, he and his wife, Heather, moved to Turlock. After working in Modesto for 4 years, Chris and Kristen opened Tower Physical Therapy in June of 2004. Professionally, Chris has stayed current on the latest treatment techniques, attending conferences and continuing education programs.
Chris enjoys time with his wife and 3 children camping, taking trips to the beach and riding bikes. Chris coaches his children in soccer and baseball and enjoys completing projects around the house.
Kyle received his B.A. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Wellness from California State University Stanislaus in 2011. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He joined Tower Physical Therapy in September 2016. Kyle’s interests lie in orthopedics, sport rehabilitation, and post-surgical patients for a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. Kyle stays up to date with current concepts and cutting edge treatments in Physical Therapy through taking a variety of continuing education courses.
In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and dog. He enjoys exercising, rooting for Bay Area sports teams, and watching movies.
Amanda joined Tower Physical Therapy in February 2016. Initially from the east coast, Amanda graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2006. Here, she was also a member of the Div I Women's Fencing Team. She attended Arcadia University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009. Amanda participated in various research projects and presented her research on muscle activation in hip fracture patients at the APTA Combined Sections National Conference. Before moving to Turlock, Amanda practiced in the greater Philadelphia region for six years in private outpatient orthopedic PT clinics.
Outside of the clinic, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors while going on walks or hikes with her dog. She is enjoying the warm California weather and exploring the state.
Alan completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from CSU Long Beach in 2008. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific in 2011.
Alan joined Tower Physical Therapy in 2013 when they opened their second clinic in Ceres. His primary experience has been in outpatient orthopedics; treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. Alan has attended many continuing education courses/conferences and recently became a certified RockDoc after completing both Functional Movement Techniques Basic and Performance.
When he is not treating patients, Alan is enjoying life with his wife and three daughters.
